Our reception is open for check-in from 16.00 until 21.00 each day. If you are planning to arrive outwith those times, please do let us know and we will ensure we either have someone on site, or prepare remote check-in details for you. The hostel is closed 10.30 - 16.00 for cleaning.
Check-out is between 8.30 - 10.30 each day. We do ask that you vacate your room by 10.30 so that we have enough time to thoroughly clean the hostel and undertake any maintenance tasks that might be required.
Take a look at the calendar below, and follow the instructions to make your online booking. Simple as that. Prices are from £35 for a single room, up to £100 for an ensuite family room. Infants (0-2 years old), free of charge.
We welcome dogs in their own dog bed. We charge a set fee of £10 per pet per booking to cover deep cleaning. We will add this to your invoice for payment prior to arrival. Please contact the hostel to arrange.
Please note that we no longer offer dorm beds. All of our rooms are booked as private rooms, whether they are twins, dorm rooms or ensuite doubles. It is compulsory to wear a face mask in public places so please remember to do this when in communal spaces. We have spare masks should you need one. Whilst most restrictions have now eased, we have made the decision to retain some of our social distancing measures in order to make customers feel more confortable. Hartfield House hostel is open from 26 April to 20 December 2021.
We are taking bookings over the Christmas and New Year (Hogmanay) period. Bookings must be for a minimum of 3 nights and on whole hostel basis only.
