Our rates are per person, per night and do not include breakfast.
Bookings can be made online through our website. You will need to provide your contact details, and debit/credit card details. These will be kept securely and full payment will be taken on arrival. Alternatively you can pay in full online at the time of booking, or by card over the phone.
On arrival, payment can be made by cash or cards. Sorry no cheques.
If a cancellation is made more than 14 days prior to arrival, you will receive a full refund (if payment has been made online or over the phone). Should reservations be cancelled within 14 days of your arrival date, Hartfield House reserves the right to charge the full amount. We will endeavour to re-let the room(s) and issue a refund but this is at the discretion of the Hostel Manager. Bookings are non-transferrable.
For bookings made through our partner sites (such as Booking.com, Expedia and Hi Hostels), a different cancellation policy may apply.
Please do not arrive early unless by prior mutual arrangement.
Reception is open for checkout: 8-10am and for check-in: 5-9pm. Please notify us if you intend arriving after hours.
Winter check-in: 4pm – 8pm (1 November – 31 March)
Day of Departure – Guests are requested to vacate their room/s by 10am
Any significant breakage or damage may result in a charge for replacement, repair or specialist cleaning. If the damage means the room cannot be made available in good time for the next arriving guests, you may also be liable for our loss of income.
Lost keys or keys not returned will incur a £20 charge.
Please keep your possessions safe. Whilst Applecross is a friendly place with very little crime, we now have a growing number of visitors passing through the area. To date we have experienced very little criminal damage, or theft at Hartfield but please be aware that you are responsible for your property. We accept no liability for any damage, or loss of personal property except in certain circumstances, as detailed in the Hotel Proprietors Act 1956.
Any information given by you regarding an enquiry, booking or payment either by telephone, email, written correspondence or electronic payment is strictly confidential and will not under any circumstances be passed on to any other parties.
All information will be kept for 12 months after which it is securely destroyed.
