Our rates are per person, per night and do not include breakfast.

Covid-19 is no longer 'unforseen circumstances' and therefore any booking made is now liable for the usual cancellation policies. Any cancellation made 14 days or more prior to arrival will be refunded in full, except for group bookings and weddings where a non-refundable deposit has been paid.
For prepaid bookings cancelled within 14 days of arrival, no refunds are available. Any requests to transfer bookings during this period are subject to the manager's discresion.
Please note that bookings made via third-party sites, including Booking.com and Hostelling Scotland, are subject to their specific cancellation policies. Kindly check your booking confirmation for details.
No-shows will be charged the total price of the reservation.
To ensure the property is fully prepared for your stay, we cannot accommodate early arrivals unless an early check-in has been pre-booked (available starting at 14.00).
Spring check-in (1 - 30 April): reception is open for check-in 16.00 - 19.00 each evening.
Summer check-in (1 May - 31 October): reception is open for check-in 16.00 - 21.00 each evening.
Winter check-in is remote (1 November – 13 Decemeber and 15th February - March 15th in The Bunkhouse): please notify us of your approximate arrival time and we will provide you with everything you need in order to have a smooth check-in.
Day of Departure – guests are requested to vacate their rooms by 10.30am. Reception is open in the mornings 08.30am - 10.30am.
We want to keep our space in perfect shape for every guest! Please be aware that you may be charged for any significant damage, repairs, or extra cleaning required. If damage prevents us from preparing the room for the next arrival, a £100 fee will be charged.
Please ensure keys are returned at check-out. A £20 administrative fee will be applied to replace unreturned or lost keys.
Please keep your possessions safe. Whilst Applecross is a friendly place with very little crime, we now have a growing number of visitors passing through the area. To date we have experienced very little criminal damage, or theft at Hartfield but please be aware that you are responsible for your property. We accept no liability for any damage, or loss of personal property except in certain circumstances, as detailed in the Hotel Proprietors Act 1956.
Your privacy is our priority. Any information you provide regarding bookings or payments is kept strictly confidential and will not be disclosed to any outside parties.
Your booking details are securely kept for 12 months for safety and legal compliance, after which they are securely destroyed.
We respect your privacy and manage your data in accordance with UK GDPR.
